my wife isn't a big fan of my Saiga 12, may end up having to get her something of her own. She says she liked the feel of the Maverick 88 we had over the Saiga ...... don't know what I'm gonna do with her

Maybe Lighter? I'm not real sure why my wife took to the 12 gauge so damn quick, maybe that lil sissy 223 did nothing for her but be heavy, but she pumped away at that damn 12 gauge. She got all happy to get it.. DID come with the pistol grip though, doubt she'll want it.

Our Maverick had the stock with pistol grip; she shot slugs and 3" magnum 00 buck without a complaint, but then again, she has been known to pistol whip me without hesitation when she wants something.

I would not suggest that without a lot of training; while the first shot may find it's intended target, follow-ups and rechambering, with a pump, takes a good bit of wrist/arm strength and practice.... just my 0.02

Lol you misunderstood me... Didn't say it was installed, said it came with it. I myself would not run that for defense, wouldn't expect my wife to either. The setup I'm referring to is 7 rd tube, speed feed stock, and pistol grip fore grip for quick and easy pumping, and the heat shield just cuz she thought it was cool. We'll see how it's fairing with weight and how she handles it before moving to a speed feed stock and side saddle... One mod I'd like to get is a set of ghost ring sights.
