Lots of info left out. Use no antibiotic soaps, treat the tank with multi bacterial agents( I can recommend one)not rid-ex, no bleach, no phosphate soaps, no grease, no quilted paper.

Best time to start treating the tank is after pumped and clean.Then shock the tank with the treatment like a pool for the first time.

I disagree with the bacteria approach. Run a line out to the yard for your washer or put a lint screen on the discharge line. Just as much lint comes out in the wash and the synthetic fabric lint coats the field lines and slowly degrades.
