No, it won't. Properly trained dogs have been known to take multiple fatal gunshot wounds and keep coming. BTW, if your hand is on the dog's foot, it's teeth are firmly affixed to you somewhere already.
I have two pits(female 70lbs/,male at 50 lbs) My male dog is very friendly with people so i doubt it would do anything, but does alert me with every sound he hears. But is a alpha male and aggressive with other dogs. My female i know will protect me, has happened several times against stray dogs and people. Use to have a aggresive loose dog that would run up at you barking and snarling. My female would step in front of me putting herself between me and the dog, puff out her chest and square up. Samething happen one time walking her past a german shepard, maybe she sensed something, but she started a low growling and once again sqaure up and chest puffed out. Walk a few feet and she would turn and face the dog and square up. She was raised around 20 something dogs and is very friendly with dogs, so maybe she sensed something off. My landlord came over one day with a guy to fix something, i was out back mowing the yard and didn't know they where in the house. My landlord had to put her out the room because she was getting alittle aggressive with the guy helping him. Also whenever we walk around the neighborhood, she always watches people who walk by. like she watches my back or something. I also can say two words and she gets on alert. What does all this mean, heck i don't know, but i love my dogs and they are great companions, that's why i got them.
Yes, 40lb Blue Heeler. Anything that comes in his yard is fair game.
Cut the trachea, you've just performed a tracheotomy. Used to open the airway if a person has a blockage above that in their throat. Blood vessels in the throat are what is vulnerable to cutting. Some predators clamp the trachea shut to strangle their prey, but that's a different thought, and takes minutes.I was told to gouge the eyes or grab the neck like you would a zombie. I carry a big ass knife. I'm willing to bet I can stab a dog to a quivering death long before it nicks one of my arteries. What about slitting a dogs throat? How long would he still have mobility after that, assuming I get through the trachea?
