yhm gas block and rail

Why? If you are using standard hand guards and you want a fold down back up iron sight, I would use something like a PRI flip up front sight block http://www.bravocompanyusa.com/PRI-Flip-Up-Front-Sight-p/pri 05-0025 frontsight barrel.htm I believe YH makes something similar. If you are using a free float rail then just use a low profile gas block and a longer rail.

ETA: It seems a few companies make a folding front sight gas block.

Any of those in my opinion are better then using a railed gas block and then adding a BUIS onto it. The other option is like I said above use a FF rail and a low pro-gas block. If you want to use YH..

But really I would go with another company like BCM, Centurion or DD for my low pro gas block and or rail.

My personal feelings are a bayonet lug is a waste of weight. However if you really want one I would still go a fold down front sight gas block. http://yhm.net/front-flip-sight-tower-hooded.html (or the one from Midwest Industries, as it has a bayonet lug too). Personally though, if it were me I would just use a standard front sight base. They are rugged as hell and always there if you ever need it. http://www.bravocompanyusa.com/AR15-Front-Sight-F-Marked-p/front sight base - f 750.htm

thanks!! that hooded ff sight is pretty cool.
