I'd have shot two .50 caliber holes thru that steel plate, horizontally spaced about 2.7" apart, to look thru.

I have a sad true story about a friend I grew up with, and lost track of while I was in the Army. We were always working on cars, and if a car didn't start, the first thing he did was put gas down the carb. A few years back I found out that he moved to NC, and was killed when he caught on fire working on a car. I don't know for sure, but that was the first thing I thought of when I heard that. While this pic is funny, I'll bet this really does happen more than you think.
Somebody's been crawling around underneath this truck....
I'm sure he's fine.
That's been me more than a dozen times.. I had a picture of one for a rock bouncer almost folded sideways for us to bolt the shock in.
