I have a Rossi pump action .22lr I bought 30 years ago. (Model 62?) It has a 16 inch bbl and a short length of pull. It breaks down into two pieces and is tube mag fed. Love that little rifle, but I also have 2 10/22's, a Cricket and a Henry Lever action. Like them all, but that little Rossi is special.

I have a Ruger 77/22 in .22lr with bull barrel and laminated stock. It has had some trigger work and the barrel free-floated. I like it.

I also have a S&W AR-style rifle in .22lr. It is fun to shoot. It is tricked out with laser, vertical grip, and red dot.

But, I am thinking about a Rimfire rifle in a cartridge other than .22lr. I think I am in the mood for a semiauto, non-AR type. I could be swayed to go with a different action.

What do you recommend?
CZ bolt gun 452/455/457 in whatever you want.

Best shooters: My CZ 453 and my son’s LH CZ 452

Favorites: My father’s Winchester 69a he left me and my grandfather’s Marlin 100 single shot my uncle left me. It was his trapping, hunting, and hog killing gun. Oh the things I saw him do with that gun. It’s beat up and ugly as hell, but it stays in the family forever.

Added this one to my small rimfire herd today, bought it at the Gem Capital show at Cumming. Glenfield/Marlin model 75. No serial number so 1968 or earlier I think. Decent shape for its age with a period 4x15 Tasco scope and a cheap sling. Nice shiny bore with good rifling and it went bang and cycled the 5 rounds well I tried thru it after I got home.
