Yes normally it’s a split roll pin on the XD, if you look at the top of the slide you’ll see it’s a spiral roll pin.

I replaced those as well in two of mine. Also had to send one in for a chipped extractor replacement. I like that glock pistols have less unnecessary parts. Glock is much easier to work on and completely take apart without being a gunsmith.
