I felt the same… I thought it looked like another Cryptic Coatings variant.

But I guess the process on that particular bcg is a little different.

If you absolutely, positively need to fire a round, that would probably do it.
I have pondered, mildly, that if the BCG is so much harder than the inside of the upper receiver, what will happen over time?

I guess I ask because I fell into the boutique rabbit hole briefly…

It was a period of time when I thought easier to clean meant better. Since, I’ve been paying more attention to the folks who care that their guns work and will continue to do so. Most of them will steer people away from the bling and recommend the proven.

But, you never know when they’ll figure something out. Figured I’d ask
