Danggitt, don't rightly know how I missed this one. My first bike was a 1976 Harley FXR. Loved that scooter.

1979 AMF Harley 1200,, it was a love hate thing, I worked on it as much as I rode it , I still own Harleys but the quality is much better than it was

Much better quality since 1984. Funny thing is how many folks today think Harley's still leak oil, break down a lot and got no power.

First was a motobecane moped....used to run my paper route on it. Then i got a used harley 175 amf to share with my brothers. Good times....

The only issue was it had a magneto generator and a series electrical system. If you rode on rough terrain, the tail lamp would heat up from being on and the filament inside the lamp would break making the electrical system shut down. Carried a box of lamps with me! Good times.

But I got a trail 90 from my older brother when he upgraded to a XL-175
I put 5000 miles on it riding from Vogel to Suches and all over southern Union County

Later I got a can am 175
A Yamaha enduro 175
And
A Honda SL-175 twin
