You are a later version as mine is a 14k number. I have tried wire pulling gel and water. Water works for about 6-8 shots and then is evaporated out. Both leave a powder/carbon mess insdie the can and on baffles.
BTW, 10ga shotgun brushes help with the 22lr can cleaning the tubes...
My TiRant45 has a born on date of 2015. It has seen its share of pew, pew, pew over the years. They sound great wet; BUT are a huge mess to clean afterwards. Plus you will be covered in a lot of little black specks everywhere. My Harvester is even older and has spent a lot of time in the...
I was thinking about 46M for a Henry X in 44mag. I have an AAC TiRant45; but don't know how it would do on a rifle. It is out of the question on 44 pistol. I hunt with a Harvester 300 since the Omega 300 was just coming out and not in stock anywhere. I waited 13 months back then for the...
Just need a strong dowel to break them apart. My Spectre II gets that way after a long range day. Did you get the 46 or 46M version? I've been thinking about getting one.
I normally hunt with a Silencerco Harvester and it works fine and is hearing safe. I would have gotten the Omega; but it was just coming out and not readily available. If you were closer, I would let you try it out as I shoot it on my 7.62x39 and 308 AR's.
AR platforms or something different. Also, what are you going to do with it? There are lots of choices out there. This is a buy once, cry once purchase since it is basically for life.
22 integral is stupid quiet. Mine keeps bulk ammo subsonic. 22lr, 30 cal, 45a p will over most of what most people shoot. Just remember you can go smaller; but not larger projectiles. Pressure comes into play from pistol to rifle.
Yes, it is worth the wait. Just make sure to buy what you want and don't worry about the price since it is basically a lifetime purchase. I have 5 and still want a couple more.
The issue for mine seems to be the extra slide speed running suppressed. Gun normally doesn't have any issues running unsuppressed with the slide moving slower. Sounds like what may be happening with your guns.
One other thing that it might be is the mags. I know that I have a Browning Buckmark that when I shoot suppressed it will do something very similar. I found out that one mag has a weaker spring and not getting the ammo up fast enough to strip cleanly every time. The slide will be almost...
This might sound stupid; but have you tried greasing/oiling your barrel up by the front of the slide. There may be just enough drag that it isn't sliding cleanly with the new barrels and not going completely back into battery. Another drag point might be how the mags are moving in the barrel...
Get a 22lr can, 45 cal pistol can, and a 30 cal rifle can will cover just about everything most people.shoot. Buy once, cry once is actually good advice.
Also know that ammo makes a difference on sound levels. Start buying subsonic ammo now and make sure your gun doesn't have an issue with it. You might be able to find a couple of members with different cans you could try depending on where you live.
