    Any of you fine gentlemen have any experience with kropatscek rifles? I’m looking at two up here at a local shop in Wasilla, AK. Ammo is available here and they look sturdy. I just don’t have any experience with them myself. For sub $500 per can I go wrong?

    On ne passe pas!

    Pretty excited about picking up this old French Berthier warhorse a little bit ago. These guys are long and strong in 8mm Lebel. Also, has a pretty neat two piece bolt. I'll be taking it out to the trench at some point this weekend with a few other allies and frenemies.

    Cool Carcano find today.

    I found a pretty cool Carcano 1891 long rifle today at the Eastman's gun show of all places. Anyway, it's solid. No stock repairs and aside from missing the cleaning rod is in great shape. It has a date of 1917 on it. I'm looking forward to getting it out to the range after I get a few clips.
