  3. How long should a quality pair of Hunting boots last?

I like these Meindl boots made for Cabelas. They are costly but the best boot I ever had. I say, you might be a redneck if the only shoes in your closet with shoetrees in them are your hunting boots! I am on my second pair. Seems the life span of the soles are 5 to 6 years. I hunt hard, all...

  5. Choosing a turkey choke for today's new technology in turkey loads

I have been using a Colonial Arms choke on my 12ga. Rem. 870 for 20 plus years. In the early days, I had a box of turkey shot re-buffered and had great results. That just got to be too much hassle and I don't even know if that guy, Max was is name in Cleveland Ga., stills does this. But with...

This is true, however, I don't think the sidearm can be carried with the intent to hunt with.
  7. Hog Hunting on a WMA during Turkey Season, which ammo can be used?

I'm not a fan of the muzzleloader for turkeys. I'd be OK with muzzleloading shotguns however.

  11. Armadillos in the North Georgia Mountains??????????

I shot one with a Ruger .22, using a flashlight to see with .....It went straight up, over my head and out of the light....Came down about 10 yards over, I thought I was toast! Kinda funny actually.
  12. Armadillos in the North Georgia Mountains??????????

I knew it was only a matter of time. I first seen the nasty armadillo at the Redlands WMA about 6 or 7 years ago. After that, I knew it was only a matter of time before they would be up in the mountains. I travel to NW Arkansas and they have been there for some time so it's not a matter of...

Went scouting this morning....Only been doing this for 25 years. But this is a first and I don't know exactly what to do about it  ? I have several hundred tiny little specs on my legs. some are moving. With a magnifying glass, I can see that they are deer ticks. I have never seen a...
