Charcoal grey is a beautiful color. That is the color of my wife's mustang. They don't call it charcoal , they call it something else but it is charcoal to me.

well, just found out that I need front wheel bearing assemblies and lower ball joints. This is a $1500 unexpected problem...

Ouch!
I replaced the left and right front wheel bearing assemblies on my 2004 with NAPA parts. Might save a few bucks if you do them yourself. Cost was around $200 each side. Haven't had to do the ball joints yet.

Yeah there is nothing to installing the wheel bearing assemblies. Remove the wheel, take the brake caliper off, loosen the axle nut, remove the assembly mounting bolts. Should be three of them. Installation is reverse. Make sure you torque the axle nut to specified specs. That is usually the main reason a new wheel bearing assembly will fail within a year or so. Many folks don't torque it with a torque wrench.

Don't forget your ABS Sensor wire if it has antilock brakes. It is plug and play.
