03 silverado

I watched a youtube video of it today...If I had the tools, and help of someone who knows what they're doing, I'd do that...but I'll have to have someone do it I'm afraid.
 
Your lower ball joints aren't too bad either. If it has the individual upper and lower ball joints. If it has them in an assembly it is more aggravating. I think the 03 Silverado has the individual joints though. Factory joints are usually riveted in and are a "press fit". You we'll need a ball joint separator fork and a good small sledge hammer. The best ball joints to replace them with is Moog brand. These bolt in, are greasable and have a lifetime warranty. You will need to have the front end aligned after all this is done too.
 
Mine is not 4x4 does that make any difference?

No. When I said axle nut I should have said spindle nut. This is the nut that tightens the wheel bearing itself. If it is tightened too tight the bearing will wear and heat up leading to early failure. If it is too Louise it will self destruct due to play within the bearing itself.
