Can't make it today as I have to work 053-1730. However, deer cooler said that almost everyone getting deer yesterday were hunting in the oaks. Be safe and post pics of your success.

Just sat my butt down in the hardwood/oak bottoms. I’m here for 4 days so hopefully it will pay off. Wish the dang wind would switch out of the northwest though!
Yeah the wind has been wrong for my area as well
Windy again this morning in Walton county. My son was lazy and slept in so I've been sitting here half awake wishing the wind would calm down. I saw a scrub 1 pointer not long after daylight. He ain't fit to shoot. It will probably be next week before it really picks up down here.
Had 12 does all together come by me a bit ago... it’s like they know it’s bucks only right now... oh well. Beautiful morning!!!
