I'm home now. Yesterday was a rain out but today was much better. I saw one small legal buck, one spike and 3 does. We've started having some really nice ones show up on camera so hopefully they'll show up while I'm in the stand. Why does it that this time of year Monday through Friday seem so long?

Saw a small spike, maybe 2 inch spikes. He came right by my stand looked up at me and put his head back down and kept on walking slowly, as if he knew he was getting a pass. About a hour later a doe and a yearling knot head came by and watched them for about 45 minutes. Other then that I saw nothing. Saw the same doe and knot head yesterday in the same stand. Apparently if I had been sitting 100 yards the other side of the pines I would've seen 2 good bucks according to one of the guys I hunt with but oh well there's more hunts in the season to see some bucks. I did get a good trail camera picture of a 6 pt I'm thinking of shooting if I see him

Working today, but I’m hitting the woods in the morning. I’ll be sitting until early afternoon.

Climbed a tree at 4:45pm, turned around to sit and two deer took off. Sat it out anyway and enjoyed the birds.
