What scope you going from to? What caliber is the bar?

I run a 1-8 on mine and love it

It’s 30:06. I hunt a place with quality regulations and my eyes are what they once were (although not terrible so I’m putting a Pentax that I have on it. It’s 4x16x50

Same Model Seven in the youth stock I stripped, reshaped, slimmed down and finished with BLO. This is the stock shape that I always thought the rifle should have instead of the 2x4 mud stock.

Got one just like it but it's too purty ta hunt with and lives in the safe.

I love Model Seven's too! I found an older FS model in 308 and I can't wait to hit the woods with it.

Im gonna go with my new turdy-turdy plot buster this year on my new lease in Meriwhether. Shots will be 75 yards or less. I have a Leupold 3-9x40 on it now but I believe I will change it out to 2-7x33 or 1.5-4x20 with low rings before the season, I’m still contemplating.

I’d leave that scope on it. A smaller objective won’t gather as much light.

Same ol guns 300 saum in ltr or 700 7-08 last couple years I only use the 7-08

Glock 40 in the hard hitting 10mm with a vortex optic. It’ll be riding in a Kenai chest holster.
I’m still working on load selection.

Sako 85S .308 with a Vortex 3-12x56, the same rifle I have used for the past few seasons. Barnes TTSX 150’s performed really well for the kids and I this season.

I guess I am not the only with an itch for a new rifle and deer season! Fall can’t get here quick enough. Just hope I have more time to hunt this year.
