Just saw something about this round in another thread and did a little research. Anybody shot one? Know where to buy one? Looks like a hot little round.

Saw that. I'm looking for the weapon. Also, the stats said 2000+ FPS, but the loading the CTD had is 1850...

RIA has a combo 1911 out comes with both barrels 22 TCM and 9mm..............

There is a shop local to me that stocks the round .It is comparable to 5.7 but not as damn expsensive to shoot.I mean hell you can't beat a necked down 5.56 in 1911 platform.

I've seen the ammo for sale at both Adventure Outdoors and GA Firing Line. I haven't seen one of the pistols yet, but shouldn't be too hard to come across from an Armscor/RIA stocking dealer.

I bought one on the ODT about a month ago, I have run about 100 22TCM thru it as well as about 100 9mm through it. There should be a law against a gun that is this much fun to shoot. VERY accurate, no recoil with the TCM ammo and the slide to frame match is great. Way to go RIA. If you are looking for something different this may be the gun for you.

Man, It sounds like a cannon, shoots a big flameball out the barrel, and hits EXACTLY where you pointed it. Fit is excellent, I'm not too keen on the finish. Considering ceracoating mine bitone. Recoil is minimal, and Armscor will reload 50 for about 15 bucks.
