hope it is. just got one back that use to belong to me.Yeah 308Browning A-Bolt, no good?
That and a new looking Remy 700 BDL were my fathers guns I got handed down to me when he passed. No they don't go out a lot. Not hardly at all. If I get picked for the elk lottery up here me and the Remy will go out for a stroll. I grew up cleaning those guns after a hunt. They are part of my youth. 😁You're just afraid to shoot it Vess. lol
Absolutely! Both are great rounds/rifles. They will both kill everything in the state of GA if that is of concern. Nearly everything in the lower 48 for that matter.
Handloading makes both of these calibers shine.
Sure, but the shooter may have a preference......Don't you?........The deer can't tell what action you have. There are a ton of actions in many calibers that will kill a deer just as dead.

NahI think I need to sell a .308 or two lol..
For example, a Tikka T3X in 308 will be on a long action with a bolt stop. Because all their actions are long action, even though 308 is a short action cartridge.308 is a short action and I do like a short action rifle
