Am I the only guy on the ODT that hunts deer and black bear with a 22-250? I just shoot everything in the head, and it works great.

Yes sir, they do. I've killed deer from 15 to 500 yards with that little bullet and they've never walked a step. I love it. I also shot one deer in the chest at 300+ yards and it ran 25 yards and piled up. Winchester ballistic tips are wicked in that thing.
Unless you hit them in the lower Jaw

A second to several suggestions here, ditch the hollow-points and try the Sierra ProHunter/CoreLokt in soft-point. Still cost-effective and good performance!
Both very good bullets sir and either will do the deed.
