I was bidding on two of the three real mp5s in the Morphys auction. First of the 4000 to hit the market. I put in bids of 40k each for two of them, but now they jumped to 50k+ yesterday. Keep in mind there is a 26% buyers premium on top of the prices show. 55k is the current bid, so if the auction was to end right now, it would be 70k delivered. I stopped at 51k, because I already have a double push pin Billistics mp5 in the same config. It is cool to have a factory mp5, but I could not spend 70+k for one. That's MG42 money.

The auction ends tomorrow. So I'm curious to see how much these mp5s go for. I've let these mp5s go, but I'm bidding on two other machineguns I plan to win tomorrow morning. Wish me luck.

The transferable mp5 is the one to get. I've wanted one ever since I went with a friends and his dad to a SWAT shooting range to shoot his dads mp5 back in 1996 (13yrs old). After that, I knew one day I would get one. Ended up getting the same configuration A4 configuration MP5 (MP5A4) some 25 years later. Its worth saving up for. It lives up to it's reputation. It's probably my favorite machinegun to shoot.
