A new-to-me gun

I just picked up a Savage 24S-E in 22 mag over 20 gauge. The metal has a nice patina on it and the wood is in good condition as well. No cracks or chunks missing. It came with the dovetail rings and a Gander Mountain fixed 4X scope with the TV reticle. The price was good for the condition it was in, so I scooped her up. Three more months and I’ll be using it to thin the squirrel population at my lease.

I'd like to know what kind of groups the 22 mag will hold at 50 & 100 yds.

I’m going to zero the scope in Wednesday morning after I finish turkey hunting. I’ll be sure to post the results. The rifling looks great, so hopefully it does well.

Most of these rifles are pretty accurate. The question is whether or not the rifle and the shotgun have a reasonably similar POI.
