A True Predator

From my last time in the woods a weekor so ago. Posted previously. I've seen a young one every year for the past three years. I'm guessing this is her and her kit.

Hope you don't mind me sharing.

Not many coon hunters in the traditional sense in this area anymore that I know of. Most “city folk” that come out to the woods to deer hunt don’t consider them predators and therefore won’t kill‘em
 
Unfortunately there are way more coons than cats, and coons really put a hurting on eggs and poults. Cats don't eat corn, radishes, apples, etc. Coons eat that bait, and baiting brings in many coons. Wanna improve turkey in an area, stop baiting. And start hunting coons in tandem with removing the bait that coons eat.
Our property is absolutely ate up with coons. I cant even remember the last time someone shot one I just can't bring myself to shoot them in the off season when they may have babies somewhere. No need for the babies to starve or die of thirst but this time of year they need to be absolutely eradicated.
