M1A, I don't know why it wouldn't be 308 but who knows. The mag looks 308 sized to me.

I was thinking the rec looked like an M1A ......but wasn’t positive. I thought either that or Garrand ....
It looks awesome! Love the stock and collapsible butt too . Going to look better even after he hydro dips it i bet.

Thanks, I got the rec on a teamM14 group buy so I'm not sure if the M14F is short lived or not.
All other USGI parts came from the firing line or windy city sourcing.

Sent it all of to Jon Wolfe who specializes in building the M14 and here you have it.

Weather is looking good tomorrow for a range day.

I really don't think it has any real bearing to it.

Still nice to see M14 on the heel stamp.

Edit: google search shows M14F as the production run for James River armory.
Although they do not have the DOD eagle stamp. That came with the group buy run and I had to have it.

Most M1A's have been neutered meaning they no longer have the bayonet lug anymore.
