Aggressive Dog on Property

I get some of you love dogs more than Humans but trust me, I will burn your dog alive in front of you if it is a threat to myself or my children. I will do everything in my power to protect them and your dog to not have a problem but, sorry "Pete" the dog will die before my children bleed from a bite.

I've had issues with dogs before and made it a habit to try to get to know the neighbors and the pets as best as possible. If the dog is just mean and refuses to be nice in any shape I tell the neighbor they won't come home if they come over and we are outside. The pepper spray does work, but I am not an everyday carrier of it and don't expect my children to be on their property.

the thread is about dogs that come on your property not dogs roaming the woods when you are doing your job if the screen name is correct. There is a difference.

Its obvious to me that just as many people on here are scared of dogs as police…
Have a heart and try alternate options instead of just killing an animal. That may be the end result, and it may be quick. But a decent person will at least make an effort.

This was about 12 years ago, but the dogs charged my neighbor a few houses down who is a retired Marine....well the problem was solved at that point. And bring a Marine he took in the puppy and he is now 12 years old and is a neighborhood pet.
I know there are aggressive breeds in dogs, but I honestly feel it is how you raise them.

It is, I've seen Pit Bulls that were good dogs.
Someone suggested feeding him, I liked that idea. Might make a new friend

Get some dog treats. New neighbors dogs would bark and growl. I threw them a couple treats a few times. Those dogs love me now

My dog will absolutely go after one particular douchebag that we run into at the lake from time to time. Sometimes dogs can sense good folks from bad.
