Ahhh you preppers are a bunch of nutjobs!

Absolutely, I've been using the Dunbar/Carl Vinson Pure Gas Station up until Nov. when the owner started telling everyone that he's not making enough money on it and it changing over to Ethanol gas. I don't keep the gas long enough around to matter while still adding what ever stabilizer is available just for goodness sake. The left overs always run fine in the truck.

I picked up my GEN at Sears when they had a really decent sale. The wife gave me the "why do we need a generator?" speech. Well during one storm when I live inside the city of WR the power was out on our street for over 4 days. Two out of the many houses had generators, both of us were prior 5th MOBsters. When I go for the whole house unit, it'll dual fuel for sure.

The preppers that I think are nuts are the ones that spend so much time "prepping" that they fail to enjoy life then the fan blades are clean. This snow storm is typical of what I "prep" for...not so much a zombie apocalypse or a Government overthrow.

I asked my Mormon buddy and he said they are counseled to have a year supply of food. He said it's mostly sugar, oats, and whole wheat in giant cans. He said he and his family could probably survive, but it wouldn't be pleasant.

This is what I used on my front wheel car yesterday and today, and I had no problem going anywhere! I paid $40 on Ebay, they are light weight (probably a pound each), very well made and work wonders! I still had problems with the idiots on the road but you can't fix stupid!

Two things to keep in mind:
1. Buy the correct size cables for your tires
2. Put them on the drive wheels! ( I saw a guy with a Honda Accord yesterday who actually put them on the rear wheels!)

They do work. Nice to know I'm not the only one with snow chains in Ga. I did buy mine while in W.Va. But I still have them and they're worth every penny when you need them. I will say that BFG AT KOs with 3 psi and 4wd are almost as good as the chains though.

All of you guys talking about Ghb, drugging women is the last thing you need to do in a time like this. You need a bag of stuff to get home!!
