American Heritage Gun Range review

No, but Nitrexman works at On The Square / American Heritage.
Lol...outed on post 59 on this thread eh? It was a weird post given the subject was a documented statement by one of the current owners of on the square american heritage gun range regarding support for restricting gun rights for the citizenry.

Thanks Hoss!

Well far from wanting to trash or flame any gun shop, But the facts are the facts for me, and this is personal knowledge as I did check the place out.
First I am a member for many years of another gun shop/Range and am very happy with the operation.
they run a nice friendly but safe place, don't put up with a lot of non sense, the prices for supplies including weapons is very good, maybe not the cheapest but certainly not the highest either.
the range fee is 12 bucks (for a 10 minute stay or a day long stay), the second person on the lane pays 6 bucks, so basically 18 bucks and you and your wife or buddy can shoot all day if you want.
anyway, as American Heritage is located less than 2 miles from my house I went in to check it out for possibly a quick trip there to shoot a few as opposed to driving to Fayetteville.
the place has prices in the upper reasonable range, and from what I see at least 10-15% higher than norm for this area, the requirement of membership to shoot didn't work at all for me, and of course the 20 bucks an hour is I think the highest anywhere in the surrounding area.
They do have a state of the art setup, but I don't understand how they expect to make a go with no walk in off the street, Not being very well positioned as to traffic, high range fees, and high general prices on the other stuff.
fortunately its not my worry, but this place certainly didn't work for me one bit.

It has so much potential though. The location is an old 84 lumber yard. They have a ton of room to expand with several out buildings. If they fire George and issue a public statement to that fact with a promise to abandon his business practices, I'm willing to give them the benefit of the doubt and give them a second chance.

I am lost on how this has so much potential??
its in the middle of no way to get there ville!
far removed from any expressway, if heading north on 42 you got to navigate the McDonough Square, going south isn't to bad unless you need to come across Hudson Bridge/ Eagles landing.
Try to explain how to get there to someone from Atlanta, or the airport!
Now there is some nice open land off Hwy 138 right between I-75 and I- 675 that would be a good location if you ask me.

If you are strident 2a supporters consider this. Are you like minded? See this next link...
