Another Ruger Mark IV Problem - Update

Just notified tonight about shipping my brand new lc9s back to Ruger. My lgs old me to bring it to them and they would ship it back to Davidson’s and they would ship a new one

I got the new Mark IV today. I took it apart just to see. The new pistol has the same style firing pen as the last. I was surprised. I just got finished reinstalling the Volquartsen accurizing kit. That was a pain - again. I guess I will go with either a Volquartsen or a Tandemkross firing pen. Say what you want about Ruger firearms, but I would take exception to any negative comments about their service department.

DAMN!! I just noticed that Ruger did not send my Volquartsen sear spring back. I reinstalled the Ruger sear spring. Anyone have any idea about implications regarding pistol reliability, etc.

I've heard that they may be the best out there. Their firearms are very very good but I think a bit overpriced for what you get. Mainly square edges and less finishing work. Mainly talking about revolvers tho

Shouldn't be a problem. Trigger pull weight may be a bit different.

I sent Volquartsen an email and asked them what I should expect. They said I should expect a new Volquartsen sear spring in the mail for free - Merry Christmas!
