I dont think it is slow for me. I drove up to Macon after work yesterday and did a deal on the way up to bass pro and another one on the way home.
Just because you did a deal doesn't mean the site is not trading at a slower pace. It is.

I'm not sure if this thread is going to get back on track, but I'll give my answer.
1) I don't low ball
2) Most of the stuff that I see (or at least are interested in) has been on here for weeks, at excessive prices.
There are about half-a-dozen items here I would buy if the prices were not 30-50% higher than one can find on auction boards. No matter how nice they are, I personally I get tired at looking at the same items which the poster is fishing for a great return, rather than a fair sale.

1. The entire gun industry is slow, not just the ODT.

Same story, different verse. Item is listed for $450, new ones are $400. If you offer $375, that's a low ball offer. I don't even try any more.
While that may be true, most of them weren't even active traders. If you're saying that there are less people on ODT as a result of less "lively debate", perhaps.
I understand having used guns listed at more than retail, but I was really referring to a for trade-only type listing. I'm just complaining.
