for 150 buy a good used bike thats a few years old. Walmart bikes are junkI'm shopping for a mountain bike. I haven't had one for a while, and when I did, it was a 1985 Schwinn Sierra.
Easy question- I don't want to spend a whole lot, so am I better off buying a 15-20 year old quality bike, or a Walmart special for a starter. I'm willing to spend $150, but not much more.

Just google how to figure out what size bike you need. Bikeforum.com is a great resource as well. What are good used bikes, and how do I get one sized for me. I'm 6'3".
I've looked on CL at Specialized stumpjumper, Novara, Trek, etc. but can't tell much about frame size as some at 18" and some are up to 21".
