I hated the Braves growing up and could always watch the Cubs on WGN, so I've been a Cubs fan all my life. Hope they win it, but last night was a disaster.
Obama says he was/is a Sox fan, but he doesn't get the name of the old Stadium right. He said he went to watch the Sox at Cominskey Park? The name of the old stadium was Comiskey Park.
That's like a Braves fan saying I remember going to Tanner field to watch the braves. A real fan doesn't get the name of the Stadium wrong.
Oh yeah there are a lot of us yankee transplants here in GA and on the ODT. We aren't bad folks, just unlucky when it comes to our place of birth, but we choose to live a better place.
They better step it up tonight... I can't believe Lester cannot throw to first base... that's embarrassing.
There's only 2 good thing about Chicago, the Cubs and I-65 south.

I was born and raised there and I agree with you. Those are the two of the best things about Chicago. I'd add the pizza, the hotdogs and my family. Outside of that, I don't have much use for Chicago.
I was raised just west of Cleveland, Ohio. Don't tell nobody! I was fortunate enough to be born down here.
Grew up in Northern Illinois, definitely a big Cubs fan. go cubs go!
