ANY IDEAS ON WHAT’S CAUSING THIS

Been reloading a while but just started loading .223 for an AR15.
Using 55gr Hornady VMAX & 27.5g CFE223
They shoot good and eject with no problems but every case has this little ding in the same place after I shoot them. I have no idea why.

They have to be hitting something when being ejected, im not sure what maybe the case deflector ?

Clean your BCG and change mags and fire.

You may be right....It's about got me buffaloed. I cant see anything on the rifle that looks like it's being hit.

I'll try cleaning the BCG but I already tried 2 different Pmags,same result.
Appreciate the advice

Haven't tried to cycle by hand, I'll try that & see what happens. As far as powder, I'm well below max load in my Hornady book so I don't know

Have you tried to resize one of these cases ? Do the dents not size out when you do?

The case is being pinched going in or when it is being ejected..I think this would be going in, just my two cents, you'll figure it out..Their is a plethora of knowledge on here to help...
