Any one familiar with these new Lithium marine batteries?

I use two 100ah Battleborn batteries, have had them for 6 years now. Have not had any issues with them. I highly recommend them, I have not run out of power on long weekend trips, three or four six to ten hour days on a single charge.

What charger do you use?

I've been using Everstart deep cycles for nearly 30 years. Found my most recent one dead in under three years, with minimal cycles cause I haven't been fishing lately. Think my solar charging setup went defective over the winter and let the battery discharge.

Made the decision to replace with a 12v 100ah LiFEPO4, got one on a Prime Day deal for $106; close enough to Everstart pricing that it's worth the experiment. We'll see how it works. Supposed to be "A" quality cells and a decent BMS, but who really knows? Replacing the fried solar charge controller to a Lithium compatible Renology.

This is on a 16' aluminum deep vee with a 40lb. bow troller.

Will share what I learn from the new battery.

I've always bought the DieHard batteries when I can get them. The deep cycle for my boat always lasted 6-8yrs for me. I'll have to replace them to go fishing. Not looking forward to the expense

So far, so good for the new LifFEPO4 in my boat. It's charging correctly from my solar setup. Really impressed with weight to capacity ratio. Haven't pressed it hard yet, but when the weather cools a bit and I have a chance to do a long morning of fishing, I'll update.

Got tied up with other stuff but mounting my kayak motor and li Time this evening. I’m hoping it all performs as well as the reviews seems to say it will.
