Any RV experts in the house?

You didn’t mention a truck camper, but this is what we found met all our needs. It has shower, toilet, bathroom sink, kitchen sink, A/C, microwave, stove top with oven, LP hot water heater, LP furnace, 2 way 110ac/LP refrigerator, dinette, and queen size sleep number bed. I have it on an 06 GMC diesel 2500HD. And it makes long distance travel a pleasure. We have traveled all over this country over the past 2 years. I can park anywhere you can park a long bed pickup.

I will say, if I was going to go to a different RV, it would be one of those new Mercedes sprinter class B’s.

Ok this may be a dumb question. This truck camper idea seems to be very versatile. Can you off load a truck camper like this at a campground, secure it and leave it there set up during a week vacation and use the truck without the camper to run around town etc?

Can you camp in this type of camper without the truck attached?

This is our current model. We have had it for about 2 years.

This will not be our last trailer. We plan on buying one more as our "forever" trailer. Gonna retire and look around at the Country.

We have towed trailers for the last 20 years, and having a travel trailer vs. a 5th wheel or motohome allows you to have a vehicle to make trips, carry supplies, firewood, etc.

I've been camping in trailers for the last 50 years....

I've seen and had them all!!!!
