Any suggestions for a decent place for a redneck 22 year old feller to stay around Stonecrest mall for 3 nights a week for 6 weeks?

Let him stay in the hood, it builds character . He 22 years old. He will be alright. That being said, you are a good dad, for being there for him. Best of luck to him , and much respect to you.

Couldn't get your husband to come install the spare for you?
Nope. Called and said he was busy plowing your back 40. :noidea:

See? That's the whole "accept and amplify" thing that BHPSteel BHPSteel said you do. I accepted the fact that you called me gay and then amplified it to make you gay, too. And for what it's worth, I changed the tire on the side of 20 in the rain at 2200h, but the vehicle didn't have a full sized spare and I wasn't driving to Charleston on a doughnut. So we spent the night at the hotel by the mall and then, in the morning, when they opened - hence the "after hours" part of my post - I went to the tire store and got a new tire. Also, my husband said you were low on milk.

My son has been accepted into a trade school near Stonecrest mall. It's a 2 hour drive one way from the house down I75 through Atl and out I20 east on a good day. I'm thinking of just finding a place he can stay for the 6 weeks he has to attend training but I'm not a big fan of the area. Looking for any suggestions for a decent hotel/motel/Holiday Inn somewhere on I 20. Further east is an option also.
I have stayed at the Comfort inn and suites on exit 80. It was nice and quiet. No one messed with me. But I got there late at night and left early the next morning.

This is the one...
