Any watch people here???

I'm a watch guy, though I can't really afford to be one these days. Even though I don't dive, I do spend a lot of time on the water and have always loved big bezel dive watches. I've owned a few Subs over the years and love Seiko automatics too. Currently I've got a stainless Eco Zilla and a few of the inexpensive dive and chrono type watches. Some of my favorite beaters are Invictas. Nothing like a watch for <$100 that looks cool but doesn't matter if you smash it into the dock or hit it with a wrench at work. Hope to have a Seiko Monster and a nice Breitling SuperOcean some day.

I have many watches. Really depends on my activities that day.

I wear one of my 2 Citizens most days at works,
my Suunto Core or Seiko Orange Monster on casual days
I own a Tag Carrera
rolex Black Sub
i own an Oris, Helson, Deep Blue
had a Breitling, but sold it.

Owned a Hublot Big Bang....but that's just too much money to just sit or wear !!

i browse Watch U Seek Forums quite a bit. Anything you may want is on there.

My next one is a Bell & Ross. Love those.

Good luck. Watches can't be recommended. They are a style that you would need to pick.

For everyday wear, keeps time, sturdy...get a Citizen

I concur on Citizen for everyday use, I go between Movado and Citizen. Thanks for suggesting the watch forum, never knew about it. Looks really good.

+1 on the suunto core. Love mine. Its my daily go to when I just want a digital watch that's tough.

Had a Tag for years. Bought it new in 1996 and wore it until I sold it 4 years ago. Tough as nails.

I've got a couple of Rolex.
2010 Explorer 2 white face. Awesome watch. Also a 11610 sub.

Not to jack the thread but I've got this Tag chrono that I'll let go for a reasonable offer. My dad was the original owner. He and I are close but the watch was just his daily driver, no sentimental value. Watch keeps time. What you see is what you get. No box or papers. PM me with offers. Thanks. 2013-03-04 20.31.16.jpg2013-03-04 21.42.18.jpg

Tag, if you want a dependable watch that looks good and last go with a tag, been there done that with the rolex. I have worn my tag everyday for over 15 years through very harsh conditions and she keeps on ticking

That looks like a 2000 series Chrono. I have a 20 year old 2000 series quartz watch that I wear almost every day. I have bought several 'nicer' watches over the years, but I keep going back to the old Tag. Have the bezel refinished and that should serve it's next owner for many years to come.

Tags are mass produced/marketed pieces of crap with generic eta movements who use gold plating. They essentially have a swatch movement in all their watches. I will commend them for a good marketing plan though (pay celebs).
