Anybody stocking up ahead of Irma?

Costco was out of water by 2:30 and not any bread to be found, either.

They were hoppin' today. Said more bottled water tomorrow morning.

On the way home passed a QT that only had 87octane.

I bet you the stores will be NUTS tomorrow and Sunday.

Dar Robinson was the stuntman that did that fall. Was the world record free fall for a long time. IIRC
Yeah that one stunt is all most people ( the ones that remember this movie at all) remember about it. It's classic Atlanta Cinema. Burt Reynolds in a cheesy cop action film in Atlanta. You can't beat that. Well maybe if there was a copy of Gator here but there ain't.
The Westin Peachtree and the Sundial Lounge is still my favorite view of Atlanta. I gotta find some more cheesy classic to watch. Hell the storm won't even get to my part of the state until Sunday or maybe Monday. I gotta go look for a copy of Walking Tall.

Heck, I'm on up North of Athens and have already seen a couple of gas stations around here that are out of gas.

You should have seen 'em hauling the stuff out on the big carts. I figured they were headed to the interstates to sell 'em for 10 bucks/bottle.

Alpharetta/Windward Pkwy location, but yeah. It wouldn't surprise me if Home Depot was running out of plywood, too!
