Anyone been staying sick?

Wife got some crap on our Christmas trip to Raleigh. Probably from our 10-year-old petri dish grandson.
Riding home yesterday (8 hours, thank you fellow travelers), she started feeling ill, stopped at the Ga. welcome center on I-95, she got a barf bag from one of the attendants there.
10 minutes after getting back on the road she started puking. All the way on the remaining 1 hour+ drive home (lovely smell to ride with, by the way). Then the other end of her digestive tract joined the festivities (waited ‘til we got home, thank you, higher power). Sick all night, still not well today.
Waiting on my incubation time to launch me into the same. Still OK. Trying to head it off by ingesting large quantities of Jameson Black Barrel.

It's a supplement. Available almost anywhere, but I just get it from Amazon.

MedCram recommended it during the initial phases of COVID as a way to counteract the free radicals that the virus generated in it's replication process.

I only take if I feel something coming on, but my sister has been taking it daily for a while now.

I haven't found anything about the recommended doses being a problem, even taken on a regular basis.

About the same time the FDA was warning about 'horse de-wormer' they also pushed to take NAC off the market, since one component of it was approved as a drug in 1963 to aid respiratory distress. After a large pushback they folded and you can get NAC OTC again these days.

Daughter texted this morning. Her, husband, and grandson all down with same symptoms.
They just flew to Costa Rica Tuesday morning for New Year’s. Happy New Year!

Fenbendazole is an anthelmintic used to treat common helminth infections, including ascarids, hookworms, whipworms, and a single species of tapeworm, Taenia pisiformis. Giardia spp. are also considered susceptible to fenbendazole.
