Don`t be afraid of public land.I hunt some private,and a LOT of WMAs.I`ve done well on WMAs,both on deer and turkeys.Check-in hunts can be crowded,but sign-in hunts are not,at least the ones I go on..My wife hunts sometime and would probably welcome you going with us.I`ll ask.
