AR in 7.62x39, anyone out there have/had one? Impressions?

I have a friend that hunts with me at night sometimes ,and he has been running one for a lil while with no troubles yet ,and know a few more that have run them for a good while with no problems .

Good to know. Thanks for the tip. I am going to take it to a gunsmith and work with him to tune it up. He's a full time smith for a living, but also a friend. I'll post how it turns out when I'm done. Thanks again.

Mine is using the enhanced firing pin, but regular spring/trigger (DPMS standard lower)

ive got one and love it. getting another one now. i tend to like high end ARs but my Arrow Arms (Macon GA) lower with no mods with SOTA complete upper and ASC mags runs well with no issues. i put an Aimpoint Pro on it. i do not like AKs since i just cant shoot them well (i always compare it to how i shoot the AR and its no contest). i highly recommend the AR in 7.62, especially since the ammo is cheaper and more readily available right now.

It's a 7.62x35 best of both worlds.
