PSA has a complete lower right now for 189.99 and a complete 18" upper with a stainless barrel for 499.99. I ordered the whole package shipped for 715.98. Not bad for a ar10.

I really tried to keep an open mind about these plain budget AR10's, but knowing what I want, I just can't justify wasting cash on a bunch of parts I will have no use for.

Still a good price if you want to send some 308 down range in a semi-auto platform.

Ya I was wondering the same thing. I'm very new to Ar's though and Im curious what you meant.

Stainless doesn't mean much to me on a barrel as compared to type of rifiling, twist, and profile. If it's stainless, then ok. I prefer black barrels though. Not a fan of leaving them stainless (although I have one SS barrel rifle).

By plain, I mean basic setup. AR10's are setup typically for longer range shooting. Thusly meaning the hand guard and FSB are just going to get swapped in favor of a longer hand guard for extra mount positioning-> scope, BUIS (if it will even need any) and bipod, as well as to free float the barrel. Also, the flash hider would probably get swapped for a brake or QD system.

As I said, seems like a descent basic rifle.
