AR10

PSA has a complete lower right now for 189.99 and a complete 18" upper with a stainless barrel for 499.99. I ordered the whole package shipped for 715.98. Not bad for a ar10.

That lower is OOS. Would this one work with it?

I still have yet to shoot it but the upper seems to be built well and the lower does as well. Trigger is not bad but I may swap it out. The upper/lower fit has a little slop at the back but I think a wedge would stop it. The buttstock is a little short for length of pull for me. I actually started a thread about that and now have some options.

Shot 50 rounds through my $539 PA10 today at AO. It worked fantastic! Not a crazy kick but you know you probably just killed someone 5 times. (silhouette target)

Get the blemished lower on sale right now, highly recommend but can't comment on accuracy, was only at 20 yards.

Put an adjustable gas block on it and it will help tame the recoil. My LR308 went from throwing brass 20+ feet to about 4 feet with an adjustable gas block. It also slows down that huge BCG so its not slamming you as hard. SCAR 17 muzzle brake makes an impressive blast wave if you are shooting outside. Your buddies will not appreciate it if they are close.

Stainless does not rust. If a peice if carbon is touching a peice of stainless it will "stain" the stainless but it will not make pits in the stainless like it will the carbon. It's simply a cosmetic blemish that cab be wiped off. Some low grades of stainless CAN corrode under extremely caustic (or long exposure to salt water/air) but even then will outlast a steel barrel 10:1

:focus:

Yes it will. It's called stainless not stainproof.
