Are Drs. Fishing for Dollars?

Last month I went to see my Primary doctor, at the VA Clinic In, Lawrenceville, he said oh Vasquez your doing great, but I'm going to recommend Ozempic, I was why I just lost 82 pounds in 17 months. Then the nurse walked in and told the doctor you can't put him on Ozempic, he had Cancer. The doctor looked at me and said , if I were to put you on Ozempic, I would be in big trouble. I said why are you pushing a medication on me that I don't need, he just walked away.
That ozempic is what’s paying the big bucks right now….

I think it should... It takes people who are morbidly obese it can have them drop weight, lower their diabetes, Heart Failure and a bazillion comorbidities a patient may have.. Thats what runs up the cost of healthcare even more

I’m not against its proper use.

Oh yeah they push those vaccines never took flu shots did take first 2 Covid shots. I had reaction to 2nd one. Want take anymore still got Covid like having bad case of flu that didn’t want quit. I finally got rid of it. Good white liquor lemon juice and some hot pepper finally sweat it out. They push blood pressure pills try scare u into their $&$ you going die. Well yeah we all going die somehow some time get over it.
I'd been dead at 39 or 40. I've lived a whole other life since then. My health did change a little with the Covid vaccine. I think we've taken 3 out of 5 or 6 I guess. Kind of went middle of the road. I understand you're position. I can say, I don't like taking an aspirin. But I'm far from that now. My blood pressure would've been off the charts without meds. They call it the silent killer. Since I retired, my health has gotten much better. They've even taken me off half of what I was taking

They have me drinking 2500 ml of water a day which is about 84 oz in "freedom units" for my kidneys. Went to another Dr last week and told them them I was having problems with crippling muscle cramps. She wanted to know if I was staying hydrated and when she I told her how much water I was drinking she said that was way too much and that I was flushing all the good stuff out of my body and they wanted me to do half my intake with electrolytes.
I guess it's just a matter of figuring out which doctor to listen to because none of them can agree on anything
They're all just glorified overpaid mechanics anyway.
I don't drink enough fluids historically. So I swap out every other one with water and Gatorade. It works for me so far. I can't tell you how many dumb looks/ deer in the headlights I've received from doctors

At 71, how much more do you want to live? I say, tell the Dr to eat sh1t, and just don’t go back. Enjoy your life, and if you can, go get a hand job from a massage parlor.
I'd like to see 100, if I can have some quality of life. It is somethin to shoot for. For me, you didn't ask that question
