Ashamed of you Taurus or Rossi?

Why do people try and skirt around the fact they are selling a Taurus or Rossi on the trader....As I scroll through the classifieds I notice that many folks will tell you just about everything about their gun besides that it's a Taurus? It seems like Im being tricked into opening their ads....Has anyone else noticed this? Not my first choice, but I've had a couple of them in the past and had no issues...

I know what you mean.. It's almost like a bad word. But hey, if you price it right, anything will move. In my opinion, anyone who wants more than $300 for their Rossi Revolver is completely delusional. Bring it down to $250, and I guarantee you'll have a buyer.

Because if I see "Taurus," generally speaking, I won't click the ad....whereas if I see ".38spl wheelgun," I might...just in case it isn't a Taurus...which it will be...but a man's gotta have hope, no?
