pretty sure 11.5 but if you go and read the article there's actually some very good info on the affect of shorter barrel 5.56 and the resulting pressures. It makes you see why many companies won't warranty shorter barrels on 5.56 and why the 300AACBO is a pretty unique round when it comes to short barrels and running subs.
looks like they were hoping this would happen.
besides running a barrel 40% shorter than approved for, no one seemed surprised when it happened.....like they were expecting it.
