So I picked up a rifle from the infamous @billieco, with some cool purple anodized parts on it. I got to thinking, and decided to add some color to my other drab AR-15 collection. And so the project began!
Billie originally cerakoted the gun in a cool tiger stripe/gray pattern that looked awesome and the purple made it pop. But I wanted to make a full on color splash! So I asked him to try and match the color on plastic parts like my stock, CH, and Surefire P6X. And he did an awesome job getting the colors close! Even did the detail work like the screw on the back of the stock.
I just need to source a Purple Lancer Magazine, or some to laser engrave a Barney on a Pmag for me so the gun can be complete.
Or find someway to dye a BFG or WOTG sling purple to match.
