Best 1911 8 round mags?

Another vote for Wilsons and Chip McCormick Power Mags.

What are best? Debatable. What I would do is buy a few different kinds and run them in your 1911 or 1911 and see which one feed the best. My TPR favors Chip McCormick Shooting Star mags, which is nice since they run me about $15 a mag. A friend has a RIA that feed Novak/ACT mags great though I feel the Chip mags still feed smoother in it. Try a few and see which one is best for the pistol.

Both guns are kimbers, I have the kimber ones, some Kim pro 's and a chip McCormick. I just didn't know if chips were as good as Wilson.

Buy one or two and try them. I don't see where for the money Wilsons are so much better, if any, then my Chip McCormick in my TRP, some find them to be superior however, and I have seen some 1911s run Wilson mags much better then others. One of the major design flaws in the 1911 is the mag, so quality mags are important.

Wilson is my favorite, CMC are second..... Its up to your budget.....

I think Chip McCormick's are the best mags for the money.

Wilson is always a safe bet. I've had a new Chip McCormick fall apart one more than one occasion while shooting.
