I like to have options.

When I roll out of bed I have immediate access to:

G17 with a Streamlight TLR2 and 5 mags
AR with light and 4 mags
870 and plenty of shells on tap..

I think the perfect nightstand pistol would be a G17L/G34 with a quality light attached. 33 round Glock factory mag with 127gr. +p+ Winchester Rangers.

Currently though, I'm running a G22 bedside. 870 in reserve. OO buck.
