Hey! I did that once back in the mid-80's. But if you paint the heads so they match/accent the liner it looks pretty cool. And sometimes you can get the feathers on the roach clip to match too.

Cause with "duck" tape ya gotta wrap it inside out and make double sticky runs of it then stick them to the roof of the car, then stick the liner up... Sooo much work.

ok order a headliner kit off the net and take it out of the truck clean it with a good stiff brush then spray the 3m glue on both the headliner and the new headliner material then with the headliner laying flat on a table or the ground get 2 people each of you pick up 2 corners and put the new liner down and smooth out any air pockets then take a new razor blade and trime any excess off and cut out any holes it should cost you about $40-50 bucks good luck.

3M Headliner adhesive in spray can and follow directions on can( add extra hands helps) work for me ,maybe it will for you.
