Hell its hard enough too find manufacturers to build the normal parts for it, that’s why we put 30 in the boneyard in 2002

Only 2 B-1As ever built, both prototypes. 100 production were all B-1Bs. (Carter vs Reagan.)


Ground support with cannons usually means circling slow (e.g AC-47, ..., AC-130). Not something you want to do with a flying gas can.
I was always partial to the suggestion of filling one of the B-1s bays with AMRAAMs.
